Meet Brielle Hayes
We chose Brielle Hayes because her approach to adopted dogs reflects exactly what HOME STAY stands for: patience, structure, and trust.
Born and raised in Texas, Brielle grew up surrounded by dogs and later developed a passion for helping adopted and shelter dogs adjust to life in a new home. Through her own experiences, she learned that the first few months aren't about rushing progress, but giving a dog the time and consistency they need to feel safe.
Her experiences helped shape HOME STAY: The 3-3-3 Guide, giving new owners a simple framework for the first 3 days, 3 weeks, and 3 months after bringing their dog home.

What's Inside
13-page instant PDF download.
- The 3-3-3 Method, in full — Part One: Decompression (Days 1–3), Part Two: Building the Routine (Days 4–21), Part Three: The Real Dog Shows Up (Days 22–30)
- Day-by-day checklists, starting with what to have ready before pickup day
- Fast answers to 6 things almost every new adopter searches at 11pm — not eating, hiding in the crate, crying or pacing at night, sudden housetraining regressions, barking or lunging on walks, flinching away from touch
- A quick-reference stress-signal chart so you can tell "settling in" from "something's actually wrong"
- A free printable Fridge Sheet — the short version of the 3-3-3 timeline, made to go on your fridge or by the door
Why We Made This
Most adoption advice tells you everything except what to actually do on day one. Home, Slowly exists to fix that: a plan built on the 3-3-3 method shelters and behaviorists actually use, written the way we wish someone had explained it to us.
